Surinder Goode. I’m a military spouse of 25 years and a mother of two teenagers. I moved to the US in 1997 and initially worked for various companies. In 2002 I leaped and opened my first coffee cart location on a military base in San Diego, California. Over the next fourteen years, my business grew to 7 carts at five base locations throughout the area. Many lessons were learned, but they were mine at the end of the day!!
I understand the challenges of being a military spouse and the primary caregiver while
operating your business. Please email me on surinder@thegoodeshow.com

Listeners – It is the Mission of the John P. Connors
Memorial Fund to tell the story of LTJG John P. Connors, US Navy. John was a
teammate, classmate, friend, son, brother, and a US Navy SEAL. He was Killed in
Action on Dec 20, 1989, as a member of SEAL TEAM 4 and we want to tell the story
of a kid from Scituate MA who served his country and sacrificed his life so his
teammates could complete their Mission.
We will cast and design a larger-than-life statue of John to
be installed on the Town Common in his hometown of Scituate MA.
Why are we doing this – John’s story is the story of our
Nation. One person’s courage can make a difference in your community, school,
and SEAL Team. It is the story of a Scholar, Athlete, and Leader who we honor by
our Mission. It is the story of all the citizens of this Nation who serve a higher purpose. -

Patrick Holcomb is a long-retired Little League right fielder whose passion for the game far outdistanced his unremarkable talent. After hanging up his cleats for good, he found his true calling, earned the title US Marine, and spent the next twenty years traipsing around the globe alongside some of the brashest and boldest women and men this country has to offer.
Running is his passion and backpacking is his joy. And to this day he still hungrily admires each mountain with the same boyish question tumbling through his mind:
Can I climb that?
