In this podcast along with his co-host Ernesto, Juan will engage with listeners in a weekly podcast on a variety of topics and will cover not only modern business topics, but aspects such as travel, cars, money, food, drinks, movies, music and definitely the arts.     Episode 5 finds the boys spending their last few days of a 9-month stay in “sin city.” Ending their lengthy trip, Juan and Ernie discuss their latest venture and how it relates to Hollywood. As always, food, movies, and music are discussed, and Juan gives a shoutout to a DJ from his hometown of El Paso. Because they are in Las Vegas though, Juan and Ernie take the opportunity to talk about promotions and branding, including the origins of one of the most successful campaigns of all time- the branding of Las Vegas and the tagline, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”

    For this 4th Episode, Juan and Ernie take a trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico to visit the Annual Balloon Festival, and then discuss Amazon, customer service, and customer expectations. Consumer behavior, sales, retailing, and even investments are also brought into play. As always, music and movies are reviewed and an interesting song from 1970 is the contest winner. The guys continue to look for an intern as well.

Reviewing a section of business history from Proctor and Gamble, their extensive product mix is examined along with their formation. In terms of promotion and signage, the American Sign Museum is introduced and the concept of a neon sign is brought up in an examination of the importance of corporate logos and design. Music and movies play an important role in this episode, a prize is given out, and an internship program is introduced.

Delving further into the cultural environment as well, movies, and music will be explored, and the episode will close with an engaging and fun contest in which listeners are encouraged to play along. Loving the podcast so far guys! Juan was my professor in college and this brings me back to his amazing lectures and hilarious stories ❤️ Can’t wait to hear about more locations and to learn more about everything and anything that’ll be talked about next time.
