Holiness in the Small Things

Thank you, Nancy, for reminding all of us moms and housewives of the “Holiness of Housework” (in Ep. 20). I was listening to this episode while cleaning the kitchen after putting my preschooler and toddler in bed. It was just so beautifully thought provoking and helped me to remember to do these small, often unseen or unrecognized tasks of housework with great love!

May God bless and be with us all as we live our lives doing great or small things with His great love!

Usually okay, but

I really liked this show for awhile, but I went back to listen to some older episodes, and the one on “sex, exercise, and confession” had my stomach turning. Making intercourse to be something you’re “putting up with” or “just getting it over with” is disgusting. I feel sorry for any women who listened to that and took it to heart. It should be a joyous activity, NEVER something your husband just does to you for himself. It’s honestly bordering on marital sexual coercion to have this “take one for the team” attitude. That episode just made me feel so gross (and so sorry for you ladies) that I really can’t listen anymore. Sorry.

Faith renewed

Over the last year, Nancy has truly transformed my life and my faith. I have felt our Blessed Mother teaching me through her about all the aspects of the faith that I needed to learn just at the right time. I’m so grateful for this podcast and for having a Catholic mom example like Nancy!
