Along the way, Kasich & Klepper will be joined by high-profile guests from all walks of life — musicians, athletes, activists, politicians, and much more — each of whom will share their unique perspectives on modern life’s biggest questions.

Together, Kasich & Klepper will have thoughtful, engaging, and downright hilarious conversations to demonstrate the power of mutual understanding in a polarized world.

    Celinda Lake and Ed Goeas

Midterms are right around the corner. What issues REALLY matter most to voters? Who will win the House and the Senate? Will Trump and Biden face off again in 2024? To get the answers, Kasich & Klepper turn to Celinda Lake, one of the country’s top Democratic pollsters, and Ed Goeas, a prominent republican pollster and partner at Tarrance Group. They explain how polling accuracy has changed over the decades, why people often lie to pollsters, and whether voters really care about civility in politics. They also discuss where abortion rights, immigration, climate change, crime, and the economy rank in importance to voters going into the November elections. Celinda Lake and Ed Goeas’ upcoming book, “A QUESTION OF RESPECT: Bringing Us Together in a Deeply Divided Nation” is available for pre-order now.

    Lis Smith

    Lis Smith

When Kasich is away, the Democrats will play. Jordan Klepper is without his partner in civility this week, so he welcomes Lis Smith, Democratic strategist for more than 20 political campaigns including Barack Obama, Andrew Cuomo and Pete Buttigieg. Jordan and Lis debate Biden’s favorability struggles, whether a “nice” candidate like Pete Buttigieg can survive in this hellish political landscape, and how they both prep to talk with Fox News or MAGA supporters. They also break down whether the DOJ will actually bring Trump to justice and Lis describes what it’s like behind closed doors in Washington with the titillating-yet-scary stories in her new book. Lis’ NYT bestseller, ANY GIVEN TUESDAY: A POLITICAL LOVE STORY is out now wherever you buy your books.

Great banter from both sides

I love Jordan Klepper and I appreciate the ability to talk about issues with Gov Kasich who has opposing (but not insane) views. And they keep it light, funny and civil.

Great discussions, not only entertaining but also insightful

One of the few programs I can listen to without getting angry. While I view myself as a social democrat, I find myself agreeing with governor Kasick sometimes. I also like their playful Ohio v Michigan banter. But I find Klepper’s insight on current events very interesting.

I particularly enjoyed Kal Penn’s episode, especially when he talks about the issue with the environmental NGO yelling at Obama’s policy rather than going into the meeting to talk about solutions. I worked in an NGO in my 30s and experienced a similar frustration - I realized advocacy is more about making noise to please donors. People that want to make a serious impact leave. And yes, too many Ivy league graduates that try to mansplain how things work to female immigrants like myself.

I’d vote for a Klepper Kasich ticket in 2024! Go for it. Love the show came to hear both glad I did.
