Long-time Schitt's Creek fans Caroline and Mike were ecstatic to see Annie Murphy (the former Alexis Rose) find her way back onto their televisions so quickly, especially in another show with a unique, new take on comedy, drama, and even some mental health thrown in there. Every episode, you'll get the same wit and analysis they brought to their Schitt's Creek podcast as they dissect every episode of AMC+'s new show.

This week, Caroline and Mike break down the (season?) finale, Episode 8, "Fixed"!

For this week's super, super-sized episode of Kevin Can Podcast Himself, we look back on what the show has been about and how tonight's finale drives that theme home. Also, we discuss Allison's metamorphosis over the course of the season, where she began versus  and the person she is in tonight's episode. Who was the real stealth character all season long? What would you drop to run after an ice cream truck? THAT FINAL SCENE?? And how badly we need a Season 2 to find out what happens. We discuss this and So Much More!

THEN, stayed tuned for our exclusive Interviews with Eric Petersen ("Kevin") and Brian Howe ("Pete"). Eric and Brian were wonderfully gracious with their time and candor and we cannot wait to have them both back on for Season 2 (fingers crossed)!

This week, Caroline and Mike break down Episode 6, "The Grand Victorian"!

At 3/4 of the way through the season, the sitcom and drama worlds feel like they're colliding faster and faster. What does that mean for the final 2 episodes of the season? Also, we got more character development of Pete this week which maybe reveals a lot more about who Kevin is (and maybe, why he is the way he is?) Is Patty weaponizing her sex to hoodwink Tammy or is she genuinely into her? Is Allison really in control more than she thinks she is? Will Allison really be able to control Nick and how he carries out Kevin's murder? We discuss this and So Much More in this super-sized episode of Kevin Can Podcast Himself!

I’m back for final thoughts

Now that we’ve finished (hopefully) Season 1 and finishing the podcast I have more thoughts. This show was such a revelation and was so refreshing in the sense that it turns the notion of the sitcom on its head. More so, this podcast was a necessity for me for picking up on the nuances in the show. I appreciate that the hosts watch each episode multiple times to really catch those details and themes I might have missed on my viewing. Thanks for putting out such a high quality podcast! Also, loving the interviews! Fingers crossed we get a season 2!
