Kezya De Bragança, is an Indian born, Singapore based entrepreneur and real estate developer. She is the Founder & CEO of Bettamint Technologies (www.bettamint.com) a digital employment ecosystem for the construction Industry in India. The construction industry's informal and fragmented nature can make it difficult for workers to find consistent work and for construction companies to source, manage and pay workers promptly. Bettamint helps to bridge this gap by creating a fairer, efficient and secure digital ecosystem to the benefit of both businesses and workers.
Consumed at an early age by her unconventional passion for construction and real estate development, Kezya has spent over a decade in real estate acquisitions and development across a range of asset classes including some notable residential, retail, commercial and hospitality projects across various Indian cities.
She is an Executive Director at Riviera Constructions Pvt. Ltd. (https://www.rivieragoa.com/), one of North Goa’s leading real estate developers that have built renowned residences, hotels and retail spaces in Goa for over 30 years.
In 2018 she Founded MansionHaus (www.mansionhaus.com), a luxury boutique hotel as she restored her 18th century family mansion back to its former glory. MansionHaus is conceived as a boutique restoration Hotel & Impact Club. Through local communities, thought leaders and entrepreneurs MansionHaus helps amplify the impact of leaders and businesses that are regenerating economies more sustainably. Being a part of the endeavour means joining a diverse group of outliers passionate about restoring the harmony between natural, human, intellectual, social and financial capital. Prior to her fascination with real estate development Kezya obtained a Bachelors Degree in
Biotechnology Engineering and spent much time in Research and Development projects involving Genomics, Proteomics and Stem Cell Technology.
Surrounded by a family of real estate entrepreneurs, her interest in the business was ignited in her formative years itself. With a penchant for learning and development, she wanted to complement her acquired technical prowess with a strong foundation in business and finance. She went on to pursue a Masters in Business Administration, Finance at Les Roches, Switzerland. She further pursued a Masters in Businss Laws, National Law School of India and an Executive Program in Private Equity and Venture Capital at Harvard Business School, Boston.
In her real estate avatar, Kezya directed the acquisition of multiple projects valued at USD 1.2 Billion in assets, across multiple cities in India.
Much of her real estate experience has been dedicated to residential and hospitality project
development. Her prior roles with Hilton Worldwide India Operations and Writer Corporation have created some iconic hospitality products in India. Kezya led the development of the 3500 acre shillim Valley, UNESCO World Heritage Site into what is now known as the multi-award winning ‘Hilton Shillim Estate Retreat & Spa’ or ‘Dharana Retreat’. Hilton Shillim Estate Retreat & Spa has been the recipient of various global honors for its contribution to the luxury wellness space and continues to be rated one of the best spas in the world within the travel and wellness industry.
She then went on to head Business Operations for Prestige Group, Bangalore a publicly traded company (BSE, NSE). Prestige Estates Projects Limited valued at approximately USD 3 Billion and one of the largest real estate players in India. Their impressive development portfolio spans iconic residences, hotels, malls, office spaces and mixed developments across the country.
