Kicking in Zubaz is a journey into the seedy underground world of full contact, no holds barred kumite fighting. Actually, it’s just a podcast hosted by some dude named Camaro Kev who really loves mma, kickboxing and boxing.
KIZ #179: GLORY 77
Camaro Kev talks about the return of GLORY kickboxing, reviews UFC 257, and previews Plant vs. Truax.
KIZ #178: GLORY 76
Camaro Kev talks about the return of Canelo, GGG and GLORY kickboxing and sounds off on "celebrity" boxing matches.
KIZ #177: Back In Business
Camaro Kev is back! Show topics: Thoughts on combat sports during the pandemic, UFC 253, Showtime/PBC Charlo double header, the state of GLORY kickboxing, and what will happen to boxing on DAZN?
KIZ #176: R.I.P. Branko Cikatic
Camaro Kev remembers inaugural K-1 champ Branko Cikatic and talks about the state of combat sports in this coronavirus world.
KIZ #175: Canelo vs. Kovalev
Show Topics: I don't like pro wrestling, Canelo vs. Kovalev, UFC 244: Masvidal vs. Diaz, GLORY 70, Prograis vs. Taylor, and Bellator 231 & 232.
KIZ #174: GLORY 70
Episode topics: GLORY 70: Lyon, UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. Askren, Bellator 231 and 232, Regis Prograis vs. Josh Taylor and Conor McGregor news.
I just found this podcast and would definitely listen to more if you’re still interested in making it. The last episode really sounds like you maybe aren’t interested in kickboxing at the moment. Either way I’m enjoying these, thank you for making them.
Just showing support! Love the discussion on combat sports!
Cutting through the BS and hype
The fighting sports are full of BS and hype, but Camero Kev knows his stuff. He talks in equal depth about the mechanics of fighting, about individual fights and fighters, and about the business and media angles of MMA, boxing, and kick-boxing. His passion for these sports really shows in this podcast, and his style of delivery and sense of humor are great!
