Kicking Off Season 3 With Natalie Portman and Her Fables‪!‬ Mom Brain

    • Kids & Family

You can't pigeonhole Natalie Portman's career. She was a child actor in 1994's "The Professional", a sci-fi matriarch in the Star Wars prequels, the Academy Award winning star of 2010's "Black Swan", and She's also a Harvard grad, activist and mother of two with her husband, Benjamin Millepied. Now with her latest book, Natalie Portman's Fables, she is now a children's book author.

In this conversation with Hilaria and Daphne, Natalie talks about how her kids inspired her to re-work classic fairy tales and give them a modern take on timeless life lessons, with the goal to make sure both boys and girls are represented equally in these life lessons. She also delved into her love of baking, how her husband wooed her and her friends with his culinary skills, and how she's tackling homeschool challenges. The Oscar winner joined us all the way from Australia to chat, where she's working during the pandemic.

Favorite Things:
