Our first episode of Stories from the Scene is a conversation between Music Victoria’s project coordinator, Kiwat Kennell and Kiernan Ironfield.

Kiernan is a proud Darug Man originally from Canberra, now residing in Naarm, Melbourne, Australia and is the Co-CEO of Songlines Aboriginal Music Corporation

Kiernan’s background stems from Education and Business, holding a bachelor of Economics from ANU and previous positions in Marrup Barak Indigenous Development Institute with Melbourne University.

Kiernan is an influential Yidaki player, performing venues such as: Marvel Stadium, The Leadbeater Hotel and The Gasometer Hotel. His focus when performing is on a guided spiritual experience through breathing and micro expressions.
