A Horror Movie/Comedy Podcast... with a twist!
What do you get when two best friends, and horror movie fans, convince themselves that they would definitely be the Final Girls at the end of the movie and never the ones “running up the stairs when they should be going out the front door?" You get Kim and Ket Stay Alive... Maybe (KKSAM for short).
Each week, Kim Burns and Ketryn Porter take turns spoiling the f**k out of a horror movie one of them hasn't seen. Through very scientific (not scientific), totally indisputable (very disputable) methods — and amidst ridiculous tangents about their personal lives, childhood fears and wild college days — they play a game to determine whether they would #StayAlive at the end.
Come play with us!

Ep. 277 Wind Chill: “The Tale of the Ass Psycho”
This is a PSA: don’t trick girls to get them to go on a road trip with you. You’ll get killed by ghosts. #Facts
-
Ep. 276 Cobweb: “The Tale of Daddy Homelander”
This movie was clearly called Cobweb for the way it dusty some ole’ cobwebs off Ket’s womb with this little opposite-of-a-creepy-crapbag.
-
Ep. 275 Thankskilling: “The Tale of ThanksBooing A.K.A. Boosgiving”
This was a tough one. It made them grateful for a lot of things: never having to watch this again, the movie being over, never having to speak of it again.
-
Ep. 274 Kristy: “The Tale of Foil Face and Davey Wayne”
Once again, poor sweet Kim is killed by her lack of aquatic prowess. So sad. So tragic.
-
Ep. 273 Slotherhouse: “The Tale of Sisters Who Hug”
Spoiler Alert: Ketryn takes the side of the sloth 100% of the time.
-
Ep. 272 There’s Something Wrong with the Children: “The Tale of the Return Policy on Children”
If your kid is a creepy crapbag, don’t bother trying to uncreep them! Send ‘em back!

Best Pod Evarrrrrr!
KKSAM is my comfort podcast! The only pod that covers horror movies that I can listen to without seeing the movie first and sometimes enjoy more! KKSAM has actually introduced me to new favorite horror movies. #StayAlive Sammies!
Love!
I love this podcast! It’s one of my favorites. If you like horror but can’t quite stomach watching on your own, I highly recommend this podcast. They aren’t gatekeepy about horror, they just like it and like to talk about it.
5/5
Currently my favorite podcast. My name is Sammy so obviously I would love this. It feels like I have friends who talk to me, but don’t listen. I appreciate the companionship especially considering that I listen to it while I clean an empty school. Which isn’t always the best choice because I think it causes me to see things. Maybe my brain is just dumb, I don’t know, but what I do know is that it’s worth the anxiety I get. Thanks Kim & Ket, you’re the best!
