Great show
I started listening to the show about two months ago and did not care for Mike. They drew me in more and more with their big time interviews and I kept coming back. Mike is a really good host and doing some great work. I enjoy the show and look forward to it dropping weekly.
Ok… but so much yelling.
The podcast itself isn’t bad. They talk about some good topics and what not if you can muscle through the first 20-30 minutes of loud laughing and lots of yelling into the mic.
I think they feel the need to make sure you can hear they are super pumped so they yell a lot and when they get really excited it’s like they want to blow your ear drums out.
This show is great in spite of Gary
I love Kinda funny Xcast and all their other content, but the thing keeping this show back from 5 stars is Gary Witta. He doesn’t add anything positive or informative to the show, in fact he detracts from the experience when the other people are trying to have a good conversation he finds a way to shut it down or make it awkward. Especially the most recent episode he acted like a little crybaby and it really reinforces that the episodes WITHOUT GARY are the best this show has to offer.
