King Hero's Journey with Beth Martens Beth Martens

After meeting Mike Winner, technical director of Alfa Vedic, co-host of Alfa Cast, salt-of-the-earth off-grid farmer and DJ, in person at Anarchapulco, I knew I wanted to have him on for another King Hero interview!

In this episode we will get deep into the esoteric nature of thinking, the mind, what destiny means, and how to use these elements for the freedom of self-governance.

We will also talk about how Mike leads shamanic journeys as a DJ, and we will geek out on what it’s like to be a podcaster along with the also well-loved, Dr. Barre Lando. 



Mike’s bio:

Mike Winner is a partner and technical director for Alfa Vedic, an off-grid farm and wellness co-op focused on innovative solutions for a new era of self-mastery, health independence and personal sovereignty. Mike, along with Dr. Barre Lando, hosts a weekly podcast called Alfacast that delves into a vast range of topics related to the new cutting-edge terrain of health freedom and spirit science.

With a bachelor’s degree in Film Studies and History from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Mike aims to elevate the conversation of global consciousness through captivating and positive story telling processes, new decentralized technologies and life changing health and freedom festivals where humans get to be humans again. Mike’s unique perspectives and positive outlook on the current global situation is a refreshing breather from the often negative, nihilistic take so common in today’s materialistic world.

For Mike, it is all about decentralizing power and returning to our spiritual selves in the process. He is excited for a future where free energy and regenerative agriculture will give us the ability to create systems where we can live in abundance and not scarcity.

Mike is also a co-founder of QORTAL, a new decentralized alternative internet and a co-founder of Music and Sky which has quickly become known as one of the top health freedom art and music festivals in the US. He has been a professional DJ for over 20 years, having played throughout the US with his unique blended style of house, old school and rock.

Join this second interview with Bible translator and creator of treeoftheliving.com, Mark Archer,

On the heels of the Easter celebrations, we will start off talking about Jesus at the crucifixion, and go on to learn about the times of Noah and Lot that Mark says we are now currently in.

We will talk about the significance of the highly anticipated April 8 total eclipse and see how it is part of this meaningful discussion that will no doubt challenge any commonly held beliefs about the Bible.

Mark’s Bio, he says, 

I am 63 years old. I was born into a semi Christian family. My mother was a Christian, but my father was not. My parents would take us children to a local church every Sunday, and at the age of 12 I became a Christian. I prayed for wisdom and knowledge. Before that I was doing poorly in school, but after I did dramatically better. After School, I joined the Army. I have since then had a fascination with the Bible and I became really interested in the original language of the Bible and when I would study the Bible I would study the Bible from it original language. I would always try to verify with the original language and definitions with what the pastors were preaching. 

In 1993, I went to a local bookstore to look up books about the new age movement and I found one that told me about a cipher code in the Torah of the Bible, which is the first five books of the Bible and contains 187 chapters and there is a separate code for each chapter and I had only one code, the first one. 

In 2001, I went to Tennessee for the feast of Tabernacles and I met a man and I felt led to share with him the code, and he told me that the code was put into the Bible by his people, and we began to discuss the code, but he never corrected me in regards to my translation of the code.  I learned a lot about how to translate the Bible by him, and I had begun to translate the first five books of the Bible.

I have published them on Amazon Kindle. I have also started a commentary of Genesis called “A Revelation of Genesis The First Messiah vol 1 The Adam Families”,  Vol 2 Choose With the  Living” and "Vol 3 The Days of Noach”.

I am presently working of Joshua and I have a website called treeoftheliving.com where you can find a link to all my books.

While you may have noticed I had given up on making sense of the Bible, when I heard Matt Presti interviewing Mark Archer I knew I needed to take another pass at it.

Based on many years of study, including translating from the Hebrew, Mark’s discoveries might be unpopular with both the Christian and new age side of things, but I like the truth, more than I want to be certain of any conclusions I’ve drawn and got attached to. 

In this interview we will discuss the history of Jesus as a man, the nature of life and death in this eclipse and Easter season, free will, and what the path of the living tree is compared with the trap most have found themselves in.

Mark’s Bio:

A Human Being, fiercely and tenderly in love with Lady Earth, I am devoted to our human co-evolving bond with her, and endlessly exploring what it means to be human.

As an anthropologist, I lean into traditional cultures and grassroots wisdom. After ten years in an esoteric caste-denying Indian subculture, I left my academic PhD behind to go barefoot as an aspiring peasant in the spirit of regenerative farming. Perhaps this is ‘deep’ anthropology, experiential rather than theoretical, and in apprenticeship to Nature, the greatest teacher whose language our subtle bodies can understand better than our restless minds. 

Both west and east have made me a polyglot who takes words seriously, and delights in silence that nourishes my contemplative spirit.

The west gave me an education, but I credit my un-learning to the east. 

I live at the edge of a village in Southeast Asia, among tropical trees and paddy fields, and a large free-ranging menagerie.
