Bill shares in-depth on the theme 'Thriving Amidst Adversities', this time about a factory he started three years ago in the States, which hasn't been going well. "In China, I seem to be more spiritually alert, but it is easy to become comfortable in your home country," admits Bill. Recently he invited co-workers to go through the online course 'Kingdom Mindsets', while also praying and worshipping together regularly. "Even though our problems are not solved yet, it has built fellowship and expectation."

This is part of a series with Bill on the theme 'Thriving Amidst Adversities.' Bill shares a present challenge this time: a Texas factory he started and invested in. After 1,5 years of a faulty production process and hardly any sales, he decided to take responsibility for leadership. Even though the factory was losing money, he felt the Lord, the Owner, didn't want him to stop. He shares about his interaction with the Lord in this situation, like spending a few days and nights in the facility, worshiping, seeking, and enjoying the Lord.
This example shows that overcoming challenges isn't about ‘becoming successful’ but can be an opportunity to deepen the relationship with the Lord.

This episode marks the beginning of a series with Bill on the theme 'Thriving Amidst Adversities.' Drawing from past experiences and witnessing God coming through time and again, his faith was strengthened. However, not everything unfolded as expected, such as the production line coming to a halt due to the global economic downturn. Despite rehiring some employees later, over a hundred people lost their jobs during that challenging period. Bill felt guided to organize a grieving ceremony, providing people with an opportunity to mourn and receive comfort from the Lord and one another.
For Bill, overcoming challenges and experiencing breakthroughs isn't about ‘becoming successful’; instead, he views it first and foremost as a journey to deepen his partnership with the Lord.

In this episode, we speak with Mike Baer, who has been actively engaged in the Business as Mission (BAM) movement for over 30 years. He shares insights into his journey, recounting how he transitioned from his role as a pastor to enter the business world due to a desire to connect with non-Christians. Over the years, he experienced a transformative shift in his worldview, as God guided him towards developing an integrated perspective on business and mission.

Mike is the founder of the Third Path Initiative, a platform offering practical training for individuals aspiring to launch their own BAM-focused businesses. Additionally, he serves as the host of the Business as Mission Podcast.

The Gospel is not just good; it's great," declares Colin Crawley in this engaging discussion about intentional evangelism in a business setting. Colin, owner of Bauhinia Consulting, advises business leaders on advancing the Gospel within their enterprises. When hired by a company, Colin conducts research, provides a diagnostic report on the missional potential of the business, discusses spiritual goals with the leaders and trains for success. Colin acknowledges, "God is the one drawing people to Him, and He is responsible for the output, but we can influence the input." He shares both measured numbers and impactful stories, such as a woman whose life was transformed, affecting those around her. While Gea is questioning, Bill agrees as he recounts how transformed lives in a work context had positively impacted his business, also financially, which had surprised him. Colin emphasizes, "It's good for business profit; the Gospel makes people more human and the workplace more as it was always meant to be.”
