In addition to the podcast series, the City has created a survey where residents can leave feedback about subjects they would like to know more about, and if they’d like to hear information from any specific city staff or elected officials.

Episode Twelve-Parks and why they are important
On this week's podcast series, "Know your City" with Norwalk City Manager Luke Nelson, Luke takes time to talk about Norwalk, Iowa’s Parks and why parks are an important part of the overall municipal government. Parks are accessible to everyone, and they are free to use. Amenities within parks have a lot of variability. Another variable is the distance to each park, and even pedestrian access or walkability. The goal of our park system is to create balance by placing parks in each neighborhood or creating regional parks.
