Searching for answers

Blindsided then thrown into the trenches with no understanding of addiction left this parent with a broken heart and struggling for answers. I needed to understand this disease from the addicts perspective; addiction and recovery. I found Kurt Swensen's ORS by chance. What an incredible blessing it has been! I highly recommend to anyone who finds themselves, a friend or a famliy member suffering with addiction to listen to Kurt's podcasts. We all know addiction leaves a broad path of destruction. Each broadcast is helping me better undersand how addiction affects the mind, body and soul (for the user and those surrounding them). Your podcasts are comfort and I can't thank you enough for taking the time to share your experiences and knowledge. What you're doing is making a positive impact on the lives of many.

Amazing show!!

I love this show. If you are either new to recovery or if you have been clean for awhile, Kurt Swensen can help you navigate the waters of sobriety. Listening to Kurt is very soothing and the information he delivers is completely on point. I started listening to the show in 2009 when I first got sober and I found it to be an oasis. I continue to listen to this day because I continue to get more and more out of it.
