Scarlet is Great

Scarlet has such a unique and artful approach to paganism that is so refreshing. And her mellifluous voice compliments the shows overall tone, giving it a relaxed and comforting feel. It feels as though she's right in the room with you. Thanks for all that you do!

This one is worth subscribing to

I've subscribed to this podcast for a year or so and it is one of my favorites. Scarlet knows her stuff and is quite easy on the ears. She and her hubby recently bought a home and this enriches her podcasts. Yards change during the seasons and she shares the things that grow there, or actually change. Her talks are part lecture and part chat. It is like sitting down in Scarlet's kitchen and chatting about the change of the seasons, Wisconsin and her home town of Milwaukee. There is nothing wrong with that. Download and listen to one of these podcasts. They aren't so long that you become bored and, like a personal conversation, topics change. Download and enjoy. You'll be a subscriber.

Not for me

I heard Scarlet on another podcast & enjoyed it so I thought I'd try her own. She seems like she has some good content. However her delivery was a complete turn off. She had obviously written a very long essay ahead of time and then read it VERY fast with little inflection, like reading a report in front of a class. After 10-15 minutes, it became tiring to listen to & I was constantly zoning out.

In the future, if I heard she had changed her style, perhaps a bulleted list to keep her on topic but speaking more conversationally, I would give it another listen. As it is, life's short and there and MANY other podcasts to listen to. Too bad so many Pagan podcasters don't understand it's not enough to provide good content (well many don't even do that) but sound quality & delivery matter also.
