Laser Time is a show featuring folks in the video games industry, although not necessarily about video games. It’s a hyper-silly, multimedia-infused look at film, TV, comics, music, pop culture, and nostalgia from the perspective of people who game for a living. Obviously, their opinions are their own and do not reflect that of their employers.

The favorite podcast

Retronauts is not only my favorite retro gaming podcast but my favorite gaming podcast. I appreciate the different points of view which everyone brings to the show. While I might not always agree, they’re good at fleshing out their thinking. I’ve been listening for a long time and I’ve finally become a patron on Patreon. Keep up the good work!

I used to love this podcast. I started listening in college when they were all at Games Radar. Recently I resubscribed and quickly realized why stopped listening to LT years ago. These guys are just like my crappy pop culture professor I had sophomore year. About a month into the class I thought he was really smart; he knew everything, read every great book and could quote movies and philosophers out of nowhere. His lectures were interested and insightful. Then I realized his lectures were him summarizing the textbook reading for the next week and I had been too lazy to break the spine of my textbook yet. The mask had fallen and I saw him for what he was; a dude who thought he was smarter and funnier than everyone around him, but he was just regurgitating someone else’s words. This show is a waste of time, and not in a fun way.
