Laurie Gunning Grossman: On Choosing Courage Over Comfort Hold the Light

    • Self-Improvement

In this solo episode, I share my thoughts on the statement "Courage over comfort." It's been one of my guiding lights this past year, but I had an interesting encounter with someone who didn't like that phrase. I'm sharing my story here -- and I also ask, who are we to know what's best for others? How can we strengthen our internal guidance system so that we make choices in our life based on our inner knowing and intuition.
As Esther and Jerry Hicks (of Abraham-Hicks) says:
“Others cannot understand the vibrational content of your desires, and they cannot understand the vibrational content of who you are, so they are not in any way equipped to guide you. Even when they have the very best intentions and want your absolute well-being, they do not know. And even though many of them attempt to be unselfish, it is never possible for them to separate their desire for you from their own desire for themselves.”
