Law & Order Me Some Tacos

Welcome to Law & Order Me Some Tacos with your host, Sandra Muñoz. Yes, Sandra is a lawyer, and yes, she loves tacos… and on this podcast, she talks about both. Sometimes you’ll sit down with just Sandra, and you hear about what it’s truly like to be a Latina Lawyer, and other times she’ll have some special guests join the conversation. Sandra has over 20 years of experience working on countless cases involving employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and on the show, she’ll take you behind the scenes on some of her most interesting cases. The hope is that you’ll walk away from each episode with a better understanding of the law and feel empowered to take action if your civil rights as a worker are ever violated. And hey, it’s not all legal talk here. Sandra is a real person. She grew up in East LA and loves her neighborhood and community. On this podcast, you’ll also get a flavor for her life, her culture, and, best of all, her taco recommendations. Be sure to subscribe or follow Law & Order Me Some Tacos anywhere you listen to your favorite podcasts, so you don’t miss a thing.

Sandra ‼️ Sandra ‼️Sandra ‼️ your podcast “ suing your employer for discrimination and retaliation (January 10, 2023) was very enlightening. It was like a chrysalis opening and from it emerged empowered butterflies, who shared heartfelt experiences, these women, like emerging butterflies, unfolding their delicate wings flew out empowered with knowledge. With your guidance, knowledge, and understanding do you realize how important it is to have women such as you take on such cases? Thank you Sandra, I commend you for what you have dedicated your life and time to. You are empowering women ‼️ And uplifting women with so much knowledge. As a Latina who attended Garfield High school in East Los Angeles, I wish that I would of had mentors such as you and that a podcast such as this would had been available to enlighten me and prepare me for what could happen in a work environment. Podcasts such as these are much appreciated and needed. Many women, including me, have experienced negative and emotional work situations, or know other women who have experienced work related atrocities. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER ‼️ High school girls or all women should be enlightened with stories such as these, many are very relatable and eye opening. “ If only “ is what comes to mind. If only I knew what I know now, then… When one is very young and inexperienced in a work place not knowing what is to be expected in any career or work environment, and only sees the good in others, when in reality and unfortunately situations such as what these women experience happens, such negative experiences can be detrimental to a person. We need more women such as you to share knowledge and guidance you and your colleagues are very impressive and intelligent women and I so admire and respect you all. KUDOS TO YOU ‼️ Sandra Muñoz And to all women who find the courage to stand up and be heard. Most sincerely Stella G Esparza

Thank you for telling the stories of women who have overcome barriers to accomplish their goals and women who have struggled to be treated fairly in the workplace. Advocates like Sandra Muñoz and her colleagues are needed to serve those communities that are unaware of their rights and hesitate to seek help.

I’m so amazed by all these brilliant young women who have come to your podcast and shared their lifelong passion and struggles with the world!! I can’t help but feel connected to them because of my humble upbringing and similarities with family, food and culture! Love those Tacos myself!! Sandra you’re one very smart cookie. I truly enjoyed how you connected so positively with your guests while validating their heartfelt experiences. I also am a Garfield High School graduate and had the privilege of being in Mr. Escalante’s math class. He was an extraordinary man who loved teaching and made his classes fun. Thank you for sharing.
