For many students, deciding on a college major and knowing if it will give them a living wage when they graduate might be a big unknown.

Marcia Jones from LCCC's Career Services joins the podcast to talk about careers and how students can link their education to job experiences, so they can launch from a job into a meaningful career.

In just 2 1/2 years Joe completed his degree through LCCC's University Partnership program with Bowling Green State university. He now has 8 years experience working on the pulmonary floor at the Cleveland Clinic as a respiratory therapist. Interested in combating viruses? Join us for a conversation with Dr. Harry Kestler, professor of Microbiology at Lorain County Community College. Prior to teaching at LCCC, Dr. Kestler taught at the Lerner Medical College of the Cleveland Clinic and held a faculty position in the department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Harvard Medical School. For the past three decades, Dr. Kestler has studied infectious diseases. He is a worldwide leader on HIV-AIDS is credited with discovering the first live attenuated vaccine for the AIDS virus. In his spare time, he also hosts an informative video series to update our community on the coronavirus and answers many questions people have about the pandemic.
