Leadership & the Ethics of Gen AI – with Andrea Bonime-Blanc, JD/PhD Growth Igniters Radio

    • Management

As Chat GPT and other forms of generative AI emerge as potentially powerful resources for accelerating momentum for game-changing growth, we’re finding that many top leaders are discussing questions of the ethics of generative AI.  What is top leadership’s role in mindfully creating a culture of ethics and reasonable governance around these complex matters?

In this week’s episode, we discuss these issues with Andrea Bonime-Blanc, JD/Ph.D. She’s the founder and CEO of GEC Risk Advisory, a governance, risk, ethics, and tech advisor to businesses, NGOs, and government.

A former C-suite executive, Andres serves on several boards and is an Independent Ethics Advisor to the Financial Oversight & Management Board for Puerto Rico. She is a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a keynote speaker, and author of several books, including Gloom to Boom: How Leaders Transform Risk into Resilience and Value (Routledge 2020). Andrea also is a 2023 Diligent Governance 100 award recipient and a 2022 National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Directorship 100 awardee. She is currently writing a new book on the governance of exponential technology, due in 2025.
