Value Bombs:

1. I knew this simple little thing, that if we just copy what successful people do, we get what they get. - Thomas Blackwell
2. Private preparation makes public success - Skylar Lewis
3. If people will switch that right now, that only say the things you actually want to happen, it will change. We literally bring about what we talked about. How do you speak to yourself? How do you speak to others? Is it doom and gloom or is it hope and faith? Because the fact is that we will all come out better from this, or we will all come out worse from this, and it'll be whatever you say. - Thomas Blackwell

Show Notes:
8:19 - 8:46            So on four tests of certification, I took them 12 times. And there's this way to see with a different lens and I'm a pretty competitive guy. I'm always winning at something. And nobody's beat my record yet. So see, I've taken the test the most time. But can you see something like that, where I'm always winning? I often say this that, “Can you identify and celebrate the victories, regardless of the score?”
14:45 - 14:52  I knew this simple little thing, that if we just copy what successful people do, we get what they get. - Thomas Blackwell
26:52 - 27:06 Where can we find the good in all this? And that's why, you know, one of the chapters is on the language of gratitude, thankfulness and appreciation. Can you be grateful for this thing right now? Can you find the good in it? And I promise you, you will find whatever you're looking for.
34:27 - 34:30 Private preparation makes public success - Skylar Lewis
36:58 - 38:18  It’s a lot of maturity to say, “Okay, obviously that what I have been doing wasn't preparing me for something like this. How can we change that in the future, and recognizing where shifts should have happened.” And blessed be that person because this will be their pivot. This will be their change. And if they don't recognize it in that vein, and their response is, “everything's terrible.” If they don't take the responsibility now to respond with positivity, and “what can I learn?” Guess what, they'll just have another one in the future. So what I'm encouraging people who're listening here, say, Look, let this be your time. And if you had prepared, let it prepare you even more.
48:29 - 49:08  If people will switch that right now that only say the things you actually want to happen, it will change. We literally bring about what we talked about. And our thoughts are just silent words. Either way, it's the word that are the trigger. So start measuring consciously. How do you speak to yourself? How do you speak to others? Is it doom and gloom? Or is it hope and faith? Is it confidence? Because the fact is that we will all come out better from this, or we will all come out worse from this. And it'll be whatever you say.
