Thanks! Also question

I've been studying Japanese for the past 6 years, and this podcast is by far the best, both in terms of palatability and content. I've been cycling through each lesson (one podcast twice a day,) over and over, and it's always a joy to be able to understand more each time around. I doubt I would've been able to do this with a less edutaining podcast. Recently, to prepare better for my upcoming move, I've been adding LJP words and phrases to my evergrowing Anki deck.

I'm actually moving in or around the Kyushu area in a few months, and wanted to ask if there was any specific dialect over there as opposed to standard. There is a lot of information about Osakaben, but none of my Japanese penpals have been able to given me a straight answer concerning this.

PS, I am actually a fan of extreme metal, and have no doubt that, with some practice, Ami could easily join her Japanese brethren and sisteren in Coffins, Self Deconstruction, and, of course, Butcher ABC, among other lovely Japanese bands.

Thanks for everything guys,

It comes in handy daily!

This podcast has really allowed me to learn while having fun! I especially enjoyed Alex's discussion about the geo-political climate of Palestine. there is a LOT of information to absorb. In addition, make sure to have a notebook, pencil, and calculator ready so you can finish the homework on time! Love the podcast!!

Fun and useful :)

This is a great podcast that breaks down the language being discussed in a fun and insightful way. Alex and Ami have an excellent rapport which makes the listener feel like they are part of the conversation. Whether listening for the first time or multiple times to reinforce the language, the vibe is fresh thanks to the well-presented content.

Highly recommended!
