Playing a Role with Peter Miller

Playing a Role with Peter Miller

LYM EP 312 is a conversation with Peter Miller.  Peter is a Quebec-born actor whose credits include the television series MVP, Virginie, and Lance et Compte.  He’s also appeared in films of note, Mambo Italiano and Rouge Sang, and portrayed Galeazzo Maria Sforza in the 2009 short film series Assassin’s Creed: Lineage.
Peter graduated from the Neighborhood Playhouse in Manhattan and built a journeyman career in acting. Before he became an actor, Peter played the same role in the Canadian Football league, drafted in 1992 he played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, BC Lions, and Toronto Argonauts as a linebacker over a six-year career.
I met Peter a number of years ago when he was preparing for the television series MVP in which he was to play a tough guy in professional hockey. We remained friends and I’ve always admired his tenacity, dedication, and humility.  This is a beautiful conversation about persistence, passion, and playing your role no matter what the circumstances.  I hope you enjoy it.

Imagining the Possibilities with Reg Grant

Imagining the Possibilities with Reg Grant

This EP is a special session recorded as part of the Reconditioning Mastermind program, a powerful element of the Reconditioning education process.  We often bring people who have navigated the worlds of therapy and performance and found ways to thrive so they can share their journey with our community.

Reg currently serves as the Director of Human Performance at Holy Name Medical Center in New Jersey.  He was formerly the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the New York Rangers hockey club for seventeen seasons.
Prior to his work in the National Hockey league, Reg served in the same capacity with Concordia University in Montreal and was also a lecturer in the Exercise Science department.  Reg is both a certified Athletic Therapist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning coach and he's always found ways to blend these capacities as he has navigated the possibilities of the world of human performance.  I think you'll get a lot out of this share. Enjoy!

The Golden Threads of Life with Me and Dana Lis (Part 2)

The Golden Threads of Life with Me and Dana Lis (Part 2)

EP 310 is a fantastic conversation between Dana Lis and me, led by Dana.  Dana is a good friend and interviewed me in early December 2022 to get some of my background in the human performance industry. In this one, she takes the time to understand how I think has been shaped, and how I am now transitioning my experiences and knowledge into mentorship and guidance for others in the HP industry.  I loved doing this interview and I love how it turned out. There are many golden threads that I think you the listener will find valuable, and I appreciate Dana for stewarding the conversation so well. Enjoy!

Human Performance One Topic At A Time

I discovered the Leave Your Mark podcast through a client and I must say, I'm hooked! I love the broad range of topics all centered around one thing: how the guests are now leaving their mark on the world at large. Brilliant!

Fingermash ,

Awesome pod!

Scotty’s a great host, and conversationalist. Different from the typical sport performance pod, LYM is more interested in what drives guests, rather than sets, reps, and periodization schemes.
