Human memory is flawed and we're here to prove it. On Totes Recall, our hosts Molly Chase, Beth Gibbs, Dan Jaquette and Dan Linden discuss the intricate details of a popular film. The catch? It's been years since they've watched it. Listen as they attempt to recap the plot, pull the names of secondary characters, and make bets whether a vat of acid appears at any point in the film. At halftime, they press the pause button, watch the film and return with answers. Did they nail it? Or, more likely, did they forget the entire second half of the movie? Listen and play along. Make new memories while realizing all of your old ones are full of lies.

Never Been Kissed
We recall Never Been Kissed (1999) a rom-com where Drew Barrymore pretends to be a high school student and crushes on both her teacher (inappropriate) and a fellow student (inappropriate). There are many "yikes" moments.

Stuck on a Space Orb
Hi Gang, Hot teen here. My mom and I recently moved in with my lame stepdad. His house is a giant space orb and he’s constantly trying to impress me by ordering cheeseburgers from the kitchen. Like it’s such a big deal that he can get the chef to do whatever he wants. We get it dude. You’re rich. My mom is obssessed with this loser, even though he’s superconservative and waaaay too old for her. His skin is super dry, but for some reason, his eyes are always wet like a beagle’s. Any tips on how to get his old weirdo to leave me alone? Or, better yet, how can I convince my mom to leave this bozo? It’s gotten so bad that she blew most of my college fund on buying this dude even more orbs for his vast collection of orbs. She really seems to love him, even though he’s probably a really bad lover.
Thanks!

Movie and Entertainment Podcast Saves Family
Dear Abby,
I, like so many other frustrated parents, am raising an unruly teen. He’s hot-blooded and hot-tempered, your typical hot teen. No matter what I said, I just couldn’t seem to reach him. Fortunately, I came across a podcast called Totes Recall, and what I thought was going to be a movie and entertainment podcast wound up being an audio support group for parents like me struggling with taming hot teens. I was so moved by the way the hosts confronted and cooled down hot teens with firm but fair life advice. Their no-nonsense ability to “rap” with the kids gave me the tools and language to finally have a breakthrough in communicating with my son.
It’s been so life changing that I want to spread the good word.
I imagine if the years of conflict hadn’t broken my spirit and marriage, I would also find this podcast hilarious as the hosts seem to act boisterously and chortle between hot teen advice segments; but that’s for another quadrant of their audience, with whom I can no longer relate.
