Shannon is thrilled to feature special guest, comedian Lois Bromfield, on The Authentic Woman this week! Lois began her career as a stand up comedian, performing in comedy venues throughout the United States - most notably The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. After countless television appearances as a performer, Lois directed her career toward the writing and production of television shows for several major networks including ABC, HBO, The History Channel and The Discovery Channel. Her most well-known comedy sketch performance is Sorority Girls from Hell, and her television writing credits include Roseanne, Grace Under Fire and The Drew Carey Show. Lois will be featured in an upcoming documentary about women in comedy entitled Makers that will air on PBS in July. 

 Our Lives with Shannon Fisher explores personal, political, and societal perspectives of the American experience. The show delves deeply into the worlds of writers, artists, celebrities, and community leaders and offers listeners food for thought on ways to better themselves and the world around them.
