Be devoted to unity and prayer. The early church was committed to meeting together, sharing in the Lord’s Supper together, and praying together. These are some of the same commitments the church must have today. These commitments lead to unity and dependence on God.

Be devoted to God’s Word and His people. The church must be founded on God’s Word and committed to one another. Without the Word of God, the church is weak or ineffective. Without commitment together, the love of Christ is not seen or experienced as God designed.

God is for you! God is for His people. He has saved them through the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. And God will forever keep His people. No one will be able to separate believers from Christ’s love.










 

Repent and believe on Jesus as Lord. The good news of Jesus calls sinners to repent of their sins and turn to Jesus as Lord and Savior. Conversion includes a humble submission to Jesus as King.

Believe and proclaim the death and resurrection of Christ. The Death and resurrection of our Savior are the central elements of the gospel message. This is the good news that must be proclaimed and believed.

Speak often of God’s Mercy. The good news of Jesus is a message of God’s mercy. In mercy, God determined to save sinners and worked out the way of salvation through Jesus Christ. This is the marvelous message His people proclaim to others.
