Our next season will begin soon and already we’re very excited about the next chapter because as always, we are committed and invested in telling stories that resonate and move us.
Today, we share what we’ve been thinking and where we want to go as well as what we’ve been up to during our break. During today’s conversation we focus on the current “We are Bruce Lee: Under the Sky, One Family” exhibit. What a wonderful podcast, again 🥰
What a wonderful podcast, again 🥰 I loved your format, getting the listener ready with background and points of interests. Drawing your audience in and preparing the visual setting, like an author that sets the scene of a good book. All your guests have had great stories to tell. Mary Chan very confident and went after what moved her. She is really good at what she does and is able to be seen the way she wants to be seen. Her ability to critique her work and improve on her skills and share these pointers with you. She gets how important it is to see how you sound and come across. Learn how your voice paints a picture of you and how to improve. I was really impressed on her ability to identify even what microphone is being used because she is so aware of sound and critiquing she does for improvement. Being seen as you want to be seen. I also like how when we reflect as adults to see our parents love by what they did or do. Little things like foods they shared in making and wanting to enjoy those foods from their youth today. Those comfort foods that make us feel good. And looking at why we do the things we learned and evaluating do we continue just because or we do because they were beneficial or we just like. Really a great job Dorinda. It’s nice to interview someone you can walk away with positive tips on top.
Slices of life
This conversation with Lil and Rhea was a wonderful time filled with truth, insight, inspiration, and humor. Dorinda, the interviewer and facilitator, asked thoughtful questions that really made the conversation take off. Hats off to both her and Jane for their discussion at the end.
Highly recommend this podcast. There is always something relatable, memory inducing, new or unusual. It’s slices of how immigrants grew up and came into their own.
Conversations between mothers and daughters
Both conversations and stories about relationships between mothers and daughters . Strong women who have amazing journeys that are both enlightening and enjoyable.
