Letter 15: Forget and Return Letter to My Ex

    • Personal Journals

This week’s writer wrote a poem in 2009 that is quite relatable to most. Trying to forget an ex and they return when you least expect it. That random, hello. Does the writer respond to that text?
Stay tuned at the end of the letter: interview with Joanna.
The Coil Winds by Blue Dot Sessions

Interview Questions:
Do you remember the last thing you and your ex said to each other? Did you think that would be the last time or that you'd hear from him again?
Was there any part of you that felt good that he's still thinking about you and text you? Any part of you thought he was playing a game?
Why do ex boyfriends seem to have an internal alarm when their ex girlfriend immediately stops thinking of them? Why can't they have instincts when things in the relationship are going bad?
Did you respond to the text?
If so, what did you say? How long did you wait to respond? How many times did you draft a response? Did you immediately text someone sh!t talking about him?
If you did not respond, how do you feel about it now? What advice do you have for newly single girls out there who just got a text from an ex, or may get a text from an ex?
