Leverkusen's 35-game unbeaten run ended while Barca’s perfect start continues

The Totally Football Show with James Richardson Podcast

Jimbo’s got Julien Laurens, Seb Stafford Bloor, James Horncastle and Pol Ballús alongside him for your latest dose of action from across the continent.

After 462 days Bayer Leverkusen’s Bundesliga unbeaten streak is over after their 3-2 defeat by RB Leipzig. Harry Kane scored his first goal of the season as Thomas Muller became Bayern's all-time record appearance holder in their win over Freiburg.

Elsewhere, Lyon came out on top in a seven-goal thriller with Strasbourg in Ligue 1 - but it’s PSG who maintain the only 100% record three matches in.

Milan’s sticky start to the Serie A season continued in a 2-2 draw with Lazio which featured some eye-catching decisions from Paulo Fonseca… they’re already five points off the pace while Inter lead the way after their 4-0 thrashing of Atalanta. Plenty of deadline day drama to reflect on too - as Victor Osimhen eventually gets his move away from Napoli…

Plus, Kylian Mbappé’s wait for a La Liga goal is over as he bagged a brace against Betis - but Barcelona stole the show putting seven past Real Valladolid!

We’ve also got plenty of reaction to last week’s European draws which threw up some pretty tasty ties…
