    Halloween Special 2024 - The Spookiest Thing That You Run Into On An Almost Daily Basis

    Hello and welcome to another SPOOKY episode of Lexx Education! First up we discuss Maki - naturally. We had been to a food fayre in Bristol that day sampling the local fayre and enjoying the skittish behaviour of Maki. Then we discuss the positives and negatives of spinach and whether or not it should be washed. Then it’s back to Maki for a good long minute and THEN we discuss all the things going wrong with our parents’ house and… Then we finally get on to spiders! Ron has the science of spiders and Laura has the folklore… Laura brings tales of Ananse, Ukrainian Christmas spiders and Grandmother creation spiders. Ron has facts about how many species of spiders there are, what makes a spider… what’s the deal with the silk? That kind of jazz! It’s a very happy lovely gentle Halloween special that meanders in Ron’s kitchen through his neighbours, through a food fayre they attended, Maki’s nonsense and all sorts of ramblings. It’s going to get giddy… so here’s your giddy warning that there’s a lot of tum cum and bum thumb chat in the second half.
