Ho Ho Ho! It's our last movie coverage episode of the year! Let's all give a fond farewell to the bonerized vampire himself, Blade.

Friend and editor, Don Fisco joins us for this glorious episode!

Here is the official synopsis of this classic film:

"Blade wears red in this one and fights a "cool" Dracula named Drake, cool right? Also there's a lot of playstation 2-looking CGI stuff, it's not really good..."

    Blade II (w/ Suraj Das)

Blade is BACK, baby! Guillermo Del Toro's in the HOUSE! Ron Perlman is ON DECK! This movie RULES!...Some might say. Others might NOT. Tune in to today's episode to hear us tear this movie a new one.

Joining us for this episode is writer, director and USC alum, Suraj Das!

Here is the official synopsis of this classic film:

"Blade is up to his old shenanigans once again! First task though, save Whistler because somehow he IS STILL ALIVE. But it doesn't matter because...VAMPIRES! New vampires with vagina mouths and mandibles for some reason. This movie should be shown to kids in schools to teach them what the post-Matrix world of 2002 looked like..."

    Blade (w/ Chandler Smidt)

    Blade (w/ Chandler Smidt)

What's up, Daywalkers!? We're back and we're talkin' BLADE, the late 90's vampire superhero classic that started it all! And by "it all" you know that I mean the entire Marvel machine that we know and love today. That's right! None of it would be possible without Wesley Snipes!!

Joining us for her fourth venture into the L2W cinematic universe is none other than Chandler Smidt!

Here is the official synopsis of this classic film:

"BLADE is a half-human, half-vampire hybrid hell-bent on killing vampires because he...hates half of himself? It doesn't really make sense but just roll with me here. He has all sorts of cool weaponry for disintegrating vamps into lame ass CGI skeleton explosions, plus there's a whole lot of leather in this movie. Look, It doesn't matter because IT'S THE 90's, okay??"

Alien: Resurrection (w/ Brian Vincent Rhodes)

Alien: Resurrection (w/ Brian Vincent Rhodes)

This is, by far, our Frenchest episode yet! Writer, director, and animator Brian Vincent Rhodes joins the pod to discuss Jean-Pierre Jeunet's gooey mid-90's classic, Alien: Resurrection!

If you haven't seen the movie, you are missing out on a whole bunch of French weirdness. The KY jelly budget on this thing must have been through the roof!

Here's the official synopsis of this classic film:

"Ripley died in the last movie but thanks to poorly explained science, she's BACK! And so is the alien queen that was living inside her. It's now the way, way future and Ripley is also half-alien now? Robot Winona Ryder shows up with a gang of space pirates hell-bent on...collecting guns..or something? They all team up and go for a swim among other fanciful events before finally facing off with THE NEWBORN, a half alien/human hybrid bred from Ripley writhing around in a bed of aliens and goo. Did we MENTION HOW FRENCH THIS MOVIE IS??!"

Effective mixed-bag

Really engaging hosts and the films are well dissected, but some of the jokes are a bit off color, which can be grating.

License to rant like a lunatic

I went to a left wing rally and a Wrath of Khan podcast broke out. Seriously guys, more about the movie and less about your weird politic rants.

Bondcast : my muse

Insightful, must listen, routine eargasms, solid sound engineering, but less Harris.
