It’s true, all true, and the saddest story ever

I am from Lonoke, Arkansas and know this story inside out. I knew the Stocks and Walls families and many others who are central to this tragedy. As hard as it is to listen to this, it is my fervent hope that the great journalism this team has done will finally bring light to the right people that Heath does deserve some mercy and consideration. He has taken responsibility for his action; no one has accepted responsibility for what happened TO him.

Most detailed doc on this case

Heath and Heather use to babysit my brother and I , and my cousins all the time. We looked up to both of them at such a young age and obviously were clueless to what was going on due to our age. I hope he’s found some sense of peace.

Yes!!! Yes!!! Listen to this podcast!!!

Someone from a true crime Facebook group recommended this podcast and I started binging it and almost finished already! I really don't want the podcast to end because it's soo good. Great investigating, good journalism, and a CRAZY and sad story. I cringed at some of the things that happened to Heath but admire him for having the strength to talk about some of the very personal things he went through at the hands of his abuser. If you're looking for a story that is not on every other podcast, this is it. Heartbreaking, sad...so many victims in this and the depravity of Jack...I'm surprised at how demeaning and wretched this sorry excuse for a man is.
Thanks for telling this story! Hope you're able to put out more seasons and find another story like this one! Great job!
