Romans- I don’t remember Paul making fun of fat people...
I used to attend this church and thought I’d give the podcast a try. Listened to the first sermon on Romans and I0 minutes in he made a really rude joke about fat people. “What does that mean I’m not sexy? That’s like saying you’re the best looking fat person. What does that even mean?” I just don’t understand why that was necessary and thought of by a pastor to be an ok thing to say.
I know pastors aren’t perfect and I don’t expect him to be. However, please consider how people other than yourself will take a joke.
