This week we bring you the conclusion of our four part serialized adaptation of The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, by L Frank Baum, best known as the author of The Wonderful World of Oz. Tonight’s installment, Part 4: Santa Claus continues his story of how he came to be who he is even as his last night on earth slips away. Under advice from the Queen of the Fairies, he had determined that all children deserve happiness, and now he had to figure out how to make toys for them all and how to get the toys to them.

This December we bring you our serialized adaptation of The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, by L. Frank Baum, best known as the author of The Wonderful World of Oz. We rejoin the story with Claus recounting the journey he took in the mortal world with Ak when he was 18 years old. Knowing how lucky he was to have lived a childhood free from worry, Claus determined to help the children of the world. He found himself snowed in for the winter with no way out of the Laughing Valley.

This December we bring you a world premiere - a serialized adaptation The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus by L. Frank Baum - best known as the author of The Wonderful World of Oz. In part one, the immortals gathered to tell the story of The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus so that it would be remembered for all eternity.We ended part one as Ak asked a now grown Claus to join him on his travels around the world, so Claus would have a better understanding of the world he came from.

Lifeline is a 30 year old theatre company on Chicago’s far north side, that specializes in adaptations. The first stage adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere began there. Lifeline is now branching out into audio drama adaptations to bring it’s ensemble to the public in a time when the public cannot come to the theatre.
