Too negative

I mostly enjoy the podcast, but I wish they weren’t so negative about so many films. Even for the movies I personally didn’t enjoy, I find it much more compelling to learn what aspects of the film did work for other people.

Oh man

On one hand this show is pretty good. But i’m over 30 minutes into the episode titled “All your peacock questions answered”, and they have yet to mention peacock! So that’s pretty misleading. Also the constant bashing of LA, is pretty annoying for a Vanity Fair podcast, news flash other places exist outside of NYC. Everyone on this show is self important and super annoying. I would pluck my eyes out if I was stuck in an elevator with any of these D-bags. Besides that, it’s pretty good.

Show notes, please!

If a listener has never heard the title of a movie mentioned in conversation among people who are so intimately familiar, it is not easy to catch enough to go on. I have spent half the morning trying to find a Brazilian movie that played at Sundance whose title I could not catch or spell.
