NurseDavid ,

I love the podcast, but...

I REALLY wish when you are making declarative comments that you would be aware of how often your voices go up a bit as if you are asking a question. It makes you sound precious...and not in a good way. It’s something all of you do, and I have to focus on the content, because the delivery is VERY annoying!!! The movie Postcards from the Edge says it’s a “comedy rule” that the voice goes up. Oliver Platt says it to Meryl Streep, to whom she responds with “That’s a comedy...rule?” Also, there is a high use of the word “like” by a few of you. Please stop. Love your writing and the content and remain a loyal listener. David

Good podcast, but…

I really enjoy this podcast. I love hearing about new and upcoming films. I wish the host (Katie Rich) would allow the others to speak more without interrupting or correcting them. Joanna does the same thing with correcting others. There is a better way to handle a correction than cutting someone off. Richard is the reason I listen. He is well informed and offers great critique. I have watched several films he recommended, and I really enjoyed them. If you are interested in film, this is a good podcast. Could be better. Richard is really good at Oscar predictions! Come on…give Richard his own podcast or at least make him the host of this one!

Slow down when you talk!

Thoroughly enjoy, BUT one of the women speaks so fast. She swallows her words which loses much of the otherwise interesting content. PLEASE take breaths and slow down. Thx!!
