Great stories and insight into their company in the outdoors

I originally found this podcast via the backpacking and blisters podcast when they became a sponsor. I was not familiar with outdoor vitals at that time but have since become more familiar with their product and company, going as far to even recommend friends new to backpacking get gear from them. I enjoyed the insight into their company and how design decisions are made as well as hearing stories from the guest they bring on. Glad to hear you guys coming out with episodes again. Keep up the good work both at the company and with the podcast.

Great gear and adventure!

Really enjoying your honest and real world testing of your gear. I am loving my pillow and I am looking forward to obtaining some more of your gear very soon.

Impressed

I came across an ad on Facebook about getting a pillow from Outdoor Vitals. My sea2summit pillow broke on my last backpacking trip so was in the market for a new one. I ordered this not expecting much because they were giving them away for free plus $10 shipping, but I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t quite have the softness that my sea2summit had or the separate in/out valves, but at 1/4 the price this is a really quality pillow, it’s also much smaller when packed and weighs less.

I also ordered a discounted light weight 35 degree sleeping bag for the summers. I have a regular summer bag for car camping but this is awesomely small and light weight so will be great for backpacking and even saving space when car camping. I have not used it yet so can’t comment yet on usage.

I listened to a podcast of theirs today as well (about a winter backpacking trip). I am glad to see an outdoors company selling quality and inexpensive products that has actual adventure seekers guiding the companies direction. It was good education for next winter and generally held attention while driving to and from work. I appreciate what these guys are doing. Check out their products!
