The Gospel of John: Jesus Offers Life Through Death

The Gospel of John: Jesus Offers Life Through Death

This week we'll be studying John 12:20-33 under the worship theme of "Jesus Offers LIFE THROUGH DEATH." Common sense would tell us the way to rise above the world would be to go up. But Jesus' Kingdom is upside-down to this world. In this lesson he'll provide an extraordinary analogy of a seed dying that gives us the secret to Kingdom expansion. The way to LIFE is actually through DEATH.

The Gospel of John: Jesus Offers the Ultimate Investment Opportunity

This week we'll be studying John 12:1-1 under the worship theme of "Jesus Offers THE ULTIMATE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY." Sometimes "zealot" or "fanatic" is used as a dirty word for religious practitioners. The reality, however, is that EVERYBODY worships someone/something, and worship, by its very essence, is extreme. So what does extreme Christian worship look like? We find a perfect example this week in Mary of Bethany.

Meaningful for the Whole Family

Pastor Hein obviously prepares diligently for his sermons. I learn something new in every single sermon I have heard that deepens my knowledge & faith in my Lord. We love the fact that he encourages the Church to be more like Jesus in how we serve those in our community. He is also so very authentic in sharing his personal struggles in life which is a huge encouragement for others who have had similar struggles. Our whole family feels that Pastor Hein’s sermons are a blessing to us. If you want to be ENRICHED & CHALLENGED in your faith you must listen.

Changed my life

I’m not a member of St. Marcus but have been listening to Pastor Hein’s sermons for nearly two years. His messages so amazingly bring out the truth of the Bible in such a surprising and beautiful way. His sermons have changed my life. The Law cuts and the Gospel heals just like God’s Word intended it to. I’m inspired to live as a Christian so much after I hear his messages, not in a way that is fleeting or emotional, but with true power from the spirit. Thank you so much Pastor Hein

Pastor Hein reveals our sin and shows us our Savior in a way few pastors can. I can't recommend his sermons highly enough.
