To me, the moment I loved the most was the pause.. when we were in that moment of totality.. even if it was only partial from where you were; there was still a moment when the energy of this eclipse connected energies in a we-are-all-one-moment.
 
There is so much power in a pause… so much power in what is coming forward for each.

As this podcast goes to air we are heading into the Great Amercian total solar eclipse on Monday.
As I have been talking about these past several weeks, eclipses are often times of revelation, as well as the hidden secrets rising to light, and are reminiscent of the activity of the human psychological shadow. It is said that these current eclipse have similiar energy to the eclipse of 2006.  Where were you then? What was going on in your life?
 
For me.. I was deep in the midst of learning about spirituality and how it was helping me in my life… coming out of divorce.. taking care of myself and my children.. and helping others develop this path of self awareness.  No surprise that I find myself deeper into this path.. new teachers.. new understanding through letting go of old patterns and old wounds.
I find myself raw and vulnerable similiar to being raw and vulnerale back then yet knowng and sensing big changes are on the horizon.

As this podcast goes to air we have just moved through the Spring Equinox which means we are officially in the energy of Spring.
Spring is filled with so many beautiful colors emerging into the world. It’s like all the colors of the rainbows were buried under the earth doing winter and down here that come… emerging from Mother Earth.
Maybe you notice this with your energy as well. Your aura is filled with light and color. Color is not just a visual experience but also a form of energy.
It's a manifestation of your energy and what you are taking in and giving out.
Light is energy in motion... happy.. sad.. stressed or happy. You can learn to empower your energy, to radiant your light and protect your light as well.
The auric field contains information about your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
I believe that the colors and patterns in the auric field can provide insights into a person's state of being and can be used for healing and spiritual purposes.
Your aura is the blueprint of your soul. It is the first line of defense for your physical presence.
I see this with my clients. I work with a lot of empaths who come in drained and tired.  Their auras are dimensioned and they wonder what’s wrong.
Your aura is constantly changing depending on .. YOU!
In my recent Masterclass, the Aura of an Empath was about the way in which you can control your energy and the auric field that surrounds you. It takes slowing down, which is another thing I am noticing: people are having a hard time slowing down and focusing.. also a result of what you are pulling into your aura.
The relationship between color and energy lies in the fact that color is a manifestation of energy which we will talk about in our episode today.
When light interacts with objects, it can be absorbed, transmitted, or reflected.
Our aura also absorbs, transmits, and reflects. It's the blueprint of our soul and our first line of defense.
What are you absorbing in your aura?
What are you reflecting out to the world?
Colors and patterns in the auric field can provide insights into a person's state of being and can be used for healing and spiritual purposes.
Colors can evoke various emotions and moods, which is why I started learning about color.
I was moody all the time and couldn't seem to control my energy.
So, I started studying light and color.
I began to sit in a room with light projected all around me.
Here's what I noticed:
Too much blue... made me too blue and sad.
Too much green ... envious and jealous.
Too much red... angry and full of fire ( and always seem to bring on a speeding ticket.)
This taught me to slow down... lol .. find balance in the color and energy I was taking in around me... sitting in a room or outside in my environment.
Purple and orange... feed my creativity and open my crown to spiritual knowledge.
Yellow was cleansing and awakening.
Indigo blue at night was calming.
The colors around us feed our aura.
The energy of light has a significant impact on our emotions and perceptions.
Our aura holds this information and we can learn to work with our aura.. to cleanse it.. to strengthen it.. to focus it and protect us.
Spring is here and it's full of beautiful colors.

In today’s epsiode, I wanted to talk about a teaching from the Medicine Wheel - spring Energy.


Spring, as I teach in the Medicine Wheel, is in the direction of the East, where the sun rises and where we look for inspiration to begin.  




This new direction offers you hope to start again and to plant new seeds for your path.


The powers of the East that come in for Spring are new beginnings and change allowing you to take that step forward into a new world of possibilities and to look forward to what lies ahead.


The element of Spring is Fire!  Lighting your soul … igniting the passion of your purpose.


The Qualities are clear vision, intentions, and the consciousness of light. In this direction, knowledge comes to consciousness. As we walk into the East, we walk in a new world.. a world filled with hope and anticipation for things yet to come.


So often, I see people setting their new intention on the calendar new year.. but this hasn’t allowed for the growth that your dreams of winter bring in.  Now is the time to awaken to these new possitilibies as you image yourself opening your door to this direction as the sun rises everyday.  Welcome these new possibilities now and set net intentions for what you want to grow.

As this podcast goes to air we are going to the final weeks of Winter. We have the last new Moon of Winter coming in on the 10th. It’s a Super new Moon in Pisces.. it’s deep.. it’s awakening you at your deepest level calling you to awaken to your dreams. Pisces is the sign of the healer, and this energy can help you heal some of your deepest wounds. Healing starts by observing your emotions and reactions. It begins when you allow yourself to pause and reflect on your old patterns. 
Coming out of the “Caves of Winter”, it is a time to reflect on the dreams that have been coming in. It is a time to refresh your intentions with this reflection of your life.
As we notice the cosmic forces and the weather patterns, one day it may feel like spring and the next back to winter. There is a push-pull of energy. To help with that, it is important to do some cord cutting and let go of old patterns that keep pushing you back. Allow the new energies coming in to help you make these adjustments to your life so that you can move forward with clarity.
It is a time to allow the depth of your Soul to speak to you. It’s a time to connect with your guides to bring in these messages of your dreams.   It is important to recognize our shadows, call them out, and name them so that you can grow and shift them.  We don’t always have to carry the same energy with us.
This is one of the reasons I love the seasonal transitions. They allow you the opportunity to shift and make changes. Working in the Medicine Wheel teaches you how to realign each session, course correct, and begin again.
This new moon will start the energy of the eclipse season, bringing on big changes. The energy starts to open with the first eclipse happening on March 24-25, a Lunar Eclipse. The big one everyone is talking about is the total Solar Eclipse on April 8.
Eclipses are dramatic “wild cards” in our horoscopes. They are some of the most dramatic tools that the universe uses to get us to pay attention to areas in our life that need to change. They uproot us, surprise us, and get us moving. They shake us out of our feelings of complacency so that we can move from one level of maturity to another, to a higher plane, and they work very rapidly. Eclipses want us to change, and change we do!  We will be talking more bout this eclipse season as it unfolds. I mention it now so that you can start to prepare your energy for them.
Change can be hard. This seasonal change from Winter to Spring is one of the hardest transitions for many people.
As we start to awaken to come oiut of Spring.. we feel our own inner caves.. which can create feelings of being isolated in the world. The protective energy we have been in can create feelings of seperation and lonliness. But as I see it.. this coccon of energy is helping you to grow.. to access your wisdom.. to break through patterns of your ancestors… known or unknown this is what is happening deep within.
Here’s the thing.. if you are super sensitive in your emotions and feelings. If you have felt this isolation, it’s important to recoginze yoru energy. It’s very easy right now to take it all personal, letting the isolation continue. However, a better way to use your energy is to start to notice what your feelings are so that you can stand in your energy and not take on all the other people’s energy that is also feeling this. 
LIke attracts like… so you want to recognize your energy firs
