    Regulations for Worship

God doesnt leave worship up to our preferencesHe cares deeply about how we approach Him. In this message, The Superior Covenant from Hebrews 9:15, Pastor Ryan Skolrud walks through the Old Testament tabernacle, its furniture, and the mercy seat to show how every detail of the first covenants worship regulations was intentionally designed by God to point us to Jesus. From the lampstand and the bread of the Presence, to the veil, ark of the covenant, and the cherubim overshadowing the mercy seat, we see how Christ is our true light, our bread of life, our atoning sacrifice, and our Great High Priest who entered the real Holy of Holies with His own blood. This sermon will help you see that true worship is not about empty ritual or doing what feels spiritual, but about responding to God on His termsin Spirit and in truthby offering our whole lives as living sacrifices in view of His mercy. Whether youre curious about how the Old Testament connects to Jesus, wrestling with what acceptable worship really means, or longing to better understand the cross as both propitiation and expiation, youll be invited to trust Christs finished work and submit every part of your life to Him in worship. Next Steps: I will repent and submit my life to Christ. The Superior Covenant

The new covenant in Christ doesnt just cover sin temporarilyit transforms hearts and brings complete forgiveness forever. In this message, The Superior Covenant from Hebrews 8:713, Pastor Ryan Skolrud unpacks how God Himself promised a new and better covenant that would do what the old covenant, weakened by our sinful hearts, could never do. Youll see how Jeremiahs prophecy is fulfilled in Jesus: God writes His law on our minds and hearts, gives us new hearts by the Spirit, forgives our wrongdoing, and remembers our sins no more, making us His people rather than His enemies. This sermon will help you understand why religious effort and law-keeping cant save us, why we desperately need grace, and how the new covenant moves us from external rules to an internal transformation rooted in Christs finished work. Whether youre weighed down by guilt, confused about the Old vs. New Covenant, or longing for assurance of Gods forgiveness, youll be invited to turn from self-reliance to the Savior who makes us new creations and reconciles us to God. Next Steps: I will repent and submit my life to Christ. 3. Copies & Shadows

    Copies & Shadows

Religious activity can never save usbut it can powerfully point us to the only One who does. In this message, Copies Shadows from Hebrews 8:16, Pastor Ryan Skolrud shows how the Old Testament tabernacle, priests, sacrifices, and even seasons like Lent are copies and shadows of a greater reality: Jesus Christ, our exalted High Priest, ministering in the true heavenly sanctuary and mediating a better covenant built on better promises. Youll see how every element of the Levitical system was designed to lift our eyes above earthly rituals and toward the finished work of Christ, who offered Himself once for all and now invites us into a relationship, not mere religion. This sermon will challenge you to examine where you may be trusting in habits, traditions, or church activity instead of in Jesus Himself, and it will encourage you to use practices like fasting and Lent not as a way to earn favor with God, but as a way to focus your heart more fully on the One who already sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Whether youve grown up around church your whole life or are just beginning to explore the Christian faith, youll be invited to fix your mind on things above, rest in the better covenant Christ secured, and respond personally to His call to repent and believe. Next Steps: I will fast from __________ for this Lenten season. I will repent and submit my life to Christ.
