Get Ready For a GUSHFEST!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this podcast!

Talia and Shawna are my sistas from other mistas! Heck, Talia and I share a last name so, who knows?!?! LOL! I identify with their humor and wit. Sure, there's a lot of personal banter, but I don't mind that. Many podcasts have banter. I certainly don't think they're ANYTHING like My Favorite Murder, because the hosts of that podcast are a bit jaded having achieved podcast greatness, not to mention being a bit full of themselves.

I don't get that from Talia and Shawna.

The only constructive criticism I can offer is that if they're going to have personal banter that they balance that with a lengthier crime stories?

Other than that, I am so grateful they're back and since I too deal with clinical depression and was, coincidentally going through a major bad patch myself, I totally get it and identify, Shawna!

Definitely worth a binge and a follow!

Its good

Good true crime podcast but in my opinion they need to be careful not to come off like theyre copying MFM too much. Theres been a couple moments while listening to this where I caught myself eye rolling at how much imitation was happening. Otherwise a funny, silly, and thorough true crime show. One more thing. The laughing is excessive. I think its great that they’re having a good time making the show but i think sometimes podcasters forget that its not as funny to the people listening and it’s really interrupting the flow. Its supposed to be for the listeners but i guess if you’re doing it just for fun for yourself then be as giggly as you want just know that people listening get annoyed quickly and don’t understand your super personal brand of humor you have with your friend you’re podcasting with.

Meh

The girls just laugh and giggle way too much. It interrupts their stories and they get sidetracked.
