I normally appreciate Matt’s perspective. I truly cannot believe that he would hop on a pod after one of the most crushing losses in my lifetime and start lecturing Nuggets fans about how we’re too soft on Jokic. It honestly felt like some social media beef he had spilled over into the pod and he was trolling us. Dude might need to unplug and touch some grass.

I listen to this show as a Laker fan who loves the league, because I understand greatness when I see it. I’m curious about what’s going on with the organization that has the best player in the league. It speaks to to gravity of Jokic that I even know who Matt and Ryan are, but they for some reason think it’s a cool lane to be critical of the man responsible for their platform being as big as it is. Matt generally comes across as a miserable human being. ALL the negative reviews center around Matt. Something to consider.

Totally crashed since Adam left. Matt is a terrible, depressing listen. Also always wrong in his analysis. I try again every once in a while but it’s as bad as I remember.

Last week Matt says the Jamal is a MAX player but that doesn’t mean he has to be a superstar (paraphrasing). But Jamal has not been clutch in these playoffs. In fact had no points in the Fourth Quarter until it didn’t matter. Game 5 was our best chance to win the series. Maybe we can still. And Porter a basic nothing for the whole game. Remember it is THEIR salaries and ridiculous contracts that have kept the Nuggets from getting Caruso or White or others that teams added last summer. Murray will be in the TOP 18 salaries next year. He’s not an all star. He fizzled in last year’s Olympics and playoffs. He fizzled all year in clutch play. His shooting score went up because he had a dozen or so 30-40 games. But he didn’t help us beat contenders, only bad teams. And no one would take him if we wanted to trade him.
