Elizabeth Galloway McQuitter, the great WBL trailblazer and President of Legends of The Ball, joins host Howard Megdal for a rollicking romp through the incredible history of the WBL, an often-ignored league made up of nothing less than the trailblazers of Title IX who made the modern women's game possible. Hear about what life was like in those heady moments when the WBL finally turned pro women's basketball into an extended reality, with a lifespan second only to the WNBA. Keep it coming!!
Great daily WNBA content with best writers giving locker room perspectives. The investment is genuine and in depth. Request to please cover the Merc more often? I feel like the coverage has been disproportionate towards some teams. Also I don’t plan on listening to the NBA locked pod bc who cares about mens basketball. in the NBA locked on. Commercial they say to make them their first listen, I wonder do they advertise their listeners to tune in to your WNBA podcast? Just some ptsd from mens sports. Anyway keep it up very grateful to you and the intelligent staff.
Terrible audio quality!
Are you serious???
Great Pod
Really enjoying this pod as I’ve started to get more invested in the W! Only criticism I’d have is that Howard’s mic/sound quality could be improved. I love his interviews but they’re hard to listen to and understand at times.
