This Wednesday night the #DDPLive had Corey Freaking Feldman and the Angels on the show as we promote the Friday the 13th featuring Corey Feldman and The Angels!  Also, Art Silva was in studio with the Artourage to talk about the setup to that event.
Show Summary
Exciting night as we had our biggest guest ever in Corey Freaking Feldman!  First we started with some giveaways and learned about Dowdy's fake heroin issues.  Then the main man himself, Corey, joined the show.

We learned the history of his group, Corey Feldman and the Angels, and a little of his past.  We talked about Michael Jackson, Hollywood pedophilia rings, and his take on the Goonies Sequeal.  Wil Wheaton played a part in this show as well as we learn all about 16 year old Wil Wheaton.

Afterwards we talked with Art Silva and the local valley music scene.  We revisited local dumbasses #Tully and #Amrik and the update on the latest from Tully and his fake profiles used to harasses and threaten local businesses.

Our game this week was Rockin Walken.  We teamed up members of The Artourage and old DDP crew member Kenneth.

Finally we ended with a round of Dowdy's, recapping the show and picking a MVP for the night.

Next Wednesday night we will have Corey F-ing Felman and the Angels on the show plus the promoter for the Friday the 13th show at Fulton 55, Art Silva of the Artourage!

The #DDPLive brought in local movie maker, Justin McAleece to the Longbox.FM studios!  We talked about his new movie, Brick Madness.  We also doubled up on the main discussion this week as we talked about the recent Tully and Cockamamie Jamie battle over pay to play and how Dowdy got involved in the feud.  And... We gave away the first pair of tickets to the Friday the 13th featuring Corey Feldman and The Angels!
Show Summary:



This show had so much going on that we had to do a double topic and drop the game.  We started off with the promotion to get free burgers from Riley's Brew Pub.  Listen to find out how you can eat for free!


The Clambake was up next and if there was any concern over the crew dabbling in political correctness, you will be rest assured that is not a problem with us.

Our main guest was Justin McAleece.  He is the writer and director for the movie Brick Madness, a movie about a Lego building competition.  Hear about the struggles involved to create this movie after 8 years.

Our second topic of the night brought to a head a ton of the artist v promoter v venue talk that we have had in the studio for years.  Two local asshats, Tully Gluffaker and Amrik Sandhu of Definitive Productions got involved in a massive online spat with past guest Cockamamie Jamie and decided to bring Dowdy in on the action.  Every detail was brought out in a scathing obliteration of two guys who have no business working in the valley or anywhere else, except maybe Laton CA.

Finally we ended the night with a quick round of the Dowdy's, handing out glamorous awards in a recap of the night.

Tuesday night, the #DDPLive did comedy night live in the Longbox.FM studios!  We had 4 comics come in to do their routines. Dana Turner, Nick Ceppaglia, Tony Le, and Joseph Simon will all took part in this first ever comedy event.  No tickets, no minimum drink numbers, and no drama.  Just a great show there for you!
Show Summary:


The show started off with a recap of Dowdy's first night of live comedy at Fulton 55.  And then we learned some things, including the number of vaginas that kangaroos have.

The Clambake fired off some fun stories and a couple Dowdy soapbox moments.  Credit scores, people getting paid and why Liam Neeson is retiring from action movies... and why was he in them in the first place.
The first ever #DDPLive Comedy Night fired off next.  Four awesome comics taking 5 minutes each in the Longbox.FM Studios!


After the show, we did our game this week, the DJ Voice Off.  We learned about how to survive a hurricane, how to survive a terror attack and how to join Antifa!

It has been awhile, but finally we were able to play Trigger Me This.  Innocent pictures that everyone had to turn into a triggered event.

And finally we did the Dowdy’s.  The awards and wrap up of the night.  Hashtags, Best/Worst Jokes, Dirtbag and MVP all out there decided by a scientific voting system.

Next Tuesday will feature yet another valley comic and some possible giveaways!

The #DDPLive got back on its rails (or off them depending on your view,) this week with our guests comedians Ken Lewis and Tim Lea.  Both will be performing at The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly Vol 12 at Fulton 55 Sept. 8. Last week we had a serious show talking about homelessness in the valley.  This week, there will be none of that as we go full in on comedy like only we can do.

Show Summary:
The show got off to a quick start with lots of Freebies announced.  Tickets to a comedy show and up for grabs later on, tickets to the premiere of Brick Madness on Sept. 9.

A rocky intro got the Clambake off and rolling this week.  Audio fails would continue throughout this hilarious and at times serious set of news stories.


For the main topic of the night, we rolled with the theme of Good, Bad and Ugly.  We talked about trending hashtags in the world. Stupid questions from the internet for the guests, reality show life, and ending with the failed hype machine that is North Korea.

A special show tonight focusing on the Homeless Camping Ban enacted a week ago in Fresno County.  We brought a focused show tonight with the man behind the initial proposal, City Councilman Steve Brandau.  We also had one of the high up admins for Fresno County Mental Health Services, Director of Behavioral Health Services Dawan Utecht.  And along with her, a hands on Division Manager, Karen Markland.

Show Summary:
The show started off with some giveaway opportunities.  Free food from Rileys Brew Pub up for grabs for anyone that sends us a message with their name and address on the #DDPLive Facebook page.

After that, the show got rolling.  This show was an attempt to identify the root cause of the central valley homeless problem.  We heard from three different sides on this and avoided the pitfalls of loud attacks frequently seen on social media in regards to this subject.  The hope was to provide some sort of option to help out.  Im not sure we solved anything, but there were some good ideas tossed out.  Hopefully it will provide a start for things to come.

Next Tuesday night we will go back to our normal show with comedians Ken Lewis and Tim Lea.  We will be talking about the good, the bad and the ugly, both the show at Fulton 55 and our main topic.
