A thorough look at some generation defining movies
Great mix of film analysis and personal perspective. Entertaining and insightful in turn, with a dynamic, freewheeling flow to the conversation. Excellent roster of guests as well. I appreciate how they contextualize Pixar’s movies in a broader history of animation/filmmaking in a way that highlights their continuity with that tradition and what makes their own variation on those norms so special.
