Hey this is Jodi and Chris from Love & The Outcome, welcome to our podcast! We’re a married couple who rock out together, we're parents of Milo and Ziggy, and we're following Jesus as best as we can. This podcast will take you on our journey covering family, spirituality, wellness, and of course music. Our life is a road trip, our mess is our message... we’re happy to invite you into it!
How To Live Your Calling In Crisis
We haven’t played a live show in seven months, but we’re learning that our calling hasn’t changed, just the way we do it. We spent this episode sharing the steps we’re taking to stay hopeful and sane and productive during this season, and how protecting our kids from everything is not our aim as parents. You gotta listen to the episode to get our thoughts on cancel culture and we’d love to hear your thoughts too! Oh yeah, and it’s Chris’ b-day!!
How To Live A Wild Faith with Carlos Whittaker
This week’s episode with Carlos Whittaker is so empowering. He just released a book called “Enter Wild,” all about moving from safe and boring to living a wild-not-mild faith. He has battled anxiety and shares some of the tools that have helped him overcome it; praying scripture over your life and promises instead of problems. He has become a voice we follow and respect so much when it comes to race and injustice in America.
The Heart Of Purpose with Desiree Siegfried
You may know her as ‘The Bachelorette’ from Season 9, where she shared her life with the world on national television... but lots has happened since then! As a young woman searching for love while also searching for herself, and now as a momma of two boys and wife to the man she met on ‘The Bachelorette,’ Desiree opens up about her experience on reality TV, and finding her identity in Christ. So pull up a chair and listen to Desiree’s story, I know her faith journey is going to encourage you
Saints: Discovering Your True Identity with Addison Bevere
Addison (son of Lisa & John Bevere) believes it is time to become more than just cultural Christians & start seeing and living as the saints that we are. Did you know that the word Christian is only used 3 times in the New Testament, but the word Saint is used over 60 times? Paul starts almost every letter ’To the saints…’ and that’s you and me!
How To Love Your Neighbor with Danielle Coke
We did something new for this one, a live instagram chat - turned podcast with Danielle Coke. Go check out her page @ohhappydani. She is a designer-turned-illustrator from Georgia, with a heart for justice and a love for Jesus and people. We found this conversation so enlightening and life giving and we hope you do too. Our prayer is that this conversation would help you see, hear and love your neighbor as yourself and that your awareness would lead you to action.
Heart Like You: A Conversation About Racism
We're pressing pause to talk about how we’ve been listening, learning, grieving and processing the racial injustice towards George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others. We aren’t going to have the perfect words but we’re learning. Our prayer is that this very raw and vulnerable conversation would give you the courage to take a first step towards repentance and fighting injustice in your life. We want this community to be a place to learn and grow together!

Authentic and inspiring
I so appreciate the authenticity, humility, and wisdom that Jodi and Chris bring to the podcast. Their words speak to me deeply, and encourage me to live out my faith in practical, daily ways. Thank you for inviting me on your journey; I feel like every time I sit with you God is working in my heart through your words and stories and I’m learning new things. I also have 2 young girls (ages 3 and 1) and work part time as a leader in an office setting, and am constantly looking for that elusive “balance” between kids, husband, work, etc. As a side note, my girls and I love your song “You Got This” and play it all the time. My 3 year old can sing along to it now and it’s just the cutest thing ever. Thank you for giving her such uplifting words to sing and shout!
Their conversations and music are so relatable. I'm a free spirit and to see Jodi follow Jesus in her own free-spirited way is so inspiring. Plus, the chemistry between this couple is something I pray to God for. I want a relationship like theirs.
