Welcome to Love Where You Live, a podcast by interior design team Jeremy and Chandler of Peach and Pine Home.
We love what we do because we get to help people create spaces where they can thrive. We love helping people find inspiration and joy where they spend the most time - in their homes! We love listening to our clients dream about what their home could be and how it could better serve them. And we LOVE creating the designs that get them there.
In this podcast, we'll tackle topics in interior design, renovation and remodeling, home tips and tricks, DIY, home decor, and more. You’ll hear practical knowledge on everything from planning full-scale renovations to updating small spaces in your home. We’ll also have some pretty awesome guests on the show with inspiring perspectives on what makes home, well, home!
Your home is vitally important to your ability to live life to the fullest. Are you ready to be inspired to make your home a place where you and your family can thrive? We are here to help YOU Love Where You Live.
Joel and Nathan Anderson of Anderson Design Group
If you’ve followed us for long, you’ve probably seen us post about the travel posters we collect depicting places we’ve been. The vast majority of our travel prints come from a local Nashville business that we love - Anderson Design Group. They are a family business, local to Nashville, and have a team mentality. With over 1800 posters, calendars, books, postcards, and more, ADG truly makes beautiful art, and we loved having a conversation with them about their business!
Design Basics Series - Q&A (Live Episode)
A few weeks ago, we recorded a LIVE Q&A episode on Facebook and Instagram Live, answering YOUR questions about design basics. You can check out the video on our Facebook Page, or listen to the audio-only version on the podcast!
Design Basics Series - Art
This is the final installment of our Design Basics Series, and it’s one of our favorite topics - ART! Chandler says it in the episode, but art really is one of the easiest ways to express who you are and who your family is in your home. In conjunction with this episode, we have some exciting news - we are launching an online store! We are starting with, you guessed it, art! We are offering six vintage digital art prints to begin with. Be sure to check them out at www.peachandpinehome.com/thecollection
Design Basics Series - Accessories
Today we’re talking about something that most anyone who is into interior design loves to talk about - accessories! Accessories are a big part of what makes YOUR home feel like YOUR style. Whether that’s books, containers, art, greenery, or fun decorative objects, accessories make a huge statement in your home. As usual, Chandler shares a few of her “rules of thumb” about accessories on this week’s episode.
Design Basics Series - Textiles
Textiles are a part of home design that can often be overlooked but are incredibly important. There isn’t a simpler way to establish your design style in your home than with textiles. As you’ll learn (or may already know), textiles are simply fabrics in your home - pillows, window treatments, bedding, etc. On today’s episode, we’ll hit the basics of using textiles in your home and give a couple tips and tricks to help you use them effectively.
Design Basics Series - Furniture
This is the 3rd episode in our Design Basics Series. Like most people, we had a shoestring budget when we were just out of college and freshly married. As we’ve grown our business and worked with talented carpenter like Kyle Levy of Broken Compass Woodworking (remember episode 8?), our appreciation for the fine craftsmanship of quality furniture has really grown. We hope that this episode helps you think through your own home and how you can best invest in pieces that will last.
Listening to your podcast gives me all the positive vibes of a great conversation with old friends, as well as inspiration to tackle my home design projects. Keep up the good work!
I tried to listen to the 2019 holiday decorating episode but there was at least 15 minutes of opening dumb banter.
Y’all are doing a great job. Fun podcast to listen to on my walks! I even find myself laughing at Jeremy’s jokes
