Welcome to the Lovecars On The Grid Podcast, where our hosts Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman give us a look back on a packed week of Motorsport! From the Formula 1 in China, to World Sports cars in Italy, WRC in Croatia, Indycar and IMSA in Long Beach, British Superbikes in Spain and World Superbikes in Holland, plus Talladega with NASCAR!

This week, in our Formula 1 gossip, Christian Horner denies the claims from Mercedes boss, Toto Wolff about the possibility of Max Verstappen moving to Mercedes.

Meanwhile, the Red Bull scandal continues! Is it being brushed under the carpet?

Formula 1 were racing in China, where McLaren's Lando Norris and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton locked out the front row for the Sprint Race. Red Bull's Max Verstappen came through to win both the sprint and the grand prix race.

The second round of the World Endurance Championship took place at Imola, where 19 hypercars were racing. With multiple weather changes, the rain created yellow flags and safety cars, bunching the pack of cars together.

In Croatia, 8 of the WRC cars were sending their cars across the terrain.

Cadillac took 1st and 2nd at IMSA in California, where we also had Indycar on the Sunday in Long Beach.

World Superbikes were racing in Holland, where Toprak Razgatlioglu stole the show again with an excellent story towards the end of the race.

British Superbikes were racing in Navarro in Spain, where the Ducati bikes have a new sponsor. It was the Yamaha bikes that pulled through, finishing in the top 3, with Vickers finishing in 1st place.

Finally, we had NASCAR in Talladega, where Tyler Reddick brought home the win in his Toyota.

Next weekend, we have MotoGP in Spain. Indycar is back for another race, plus NASCAR at Dover Bowl. Formula E are racing in Monaco, plus the British Touring Cars are back racing at Donington! The British GT are also racing at Silverstone.

Give it up! 2021 season is OVER

Used to love this podcast. It’s unlistenable now. 10+ weeks on and we STILL HAVE TO HEAR THEM CRY about Lewis losing. Get. Over. It.

And HILARIOUS they say that Max is unbearable on the radio while completely ignoring that Lewis cries constantly and has for years! It’s getting ridiculous now with the bias.
