I would never (ever) have clicked on a podcast from any Baptist church knowing only of the Southern Baptist fundamentalist viewpoint. God's wonderful Holy Spirit lead me here just at the right time when my pastor has moved away and my soul needs nourishment. Susan is a joy and has a special gift from our loving creator that she is sharing with us. If you listen you will not be sorry and you will leave feeling you have gained insight. Take a listen.
Feel good religion
I have no problem with the use of humor during a sermon, and while these sermons contain some truth, the church is not following biblical teachings in allowing a woman to preach. Compromising the Word of God in this way (however innocent, progressive, inclusive, <insert other liberal terms here>) is wrong, and while it may fill the seats and make the other reviewers feel good, it makes me wonder what other biblical principles this church is willing to compromise?
